A good article writing format makes your writing easy to read, easy to scan and easy for search engines to understand. Below is the format we recommend for blog posts and guest posts, followed by a complete article sample you can use as a template.
The 7 parts of an article
| Part | What it does | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Title | Tells the reader exactly what they will get | Put the main keyword near the start; 50–65 characters |
| 2. Introduction | Names the problem and promises the answer | 2–4 sentences; no long story |
| 3. Subheadings (H2/H3) | Break the topic into steps or questions | One idea per heading |
| 4. Body paragraphs | Explain, give examples and evidence | 2–4 sentences each |
| 5. Lists and tables | Make steps and comparisons scannable | Use them where readers compare or follow steps |
| 6. Conclusion | Summarises and tells the reader what to do next | End with one clear action |
| 7. Author bio | Builds trust and links to your site | 1–2 sentences, one link |
Online article format vs school article format
In school and board exams, the article format usually needs a title, the writer’s name (“By …”), an introduction, body and conclusion, often within a word limit. Online articles follow the same order but add subheadings, lists, images, links and SEO details such as a meta description, because readers scan on phones and search engines rely on structure.

How to Start a Small Online Business in Pakistan with Low Investment
By Ayesha Khan
Many people in Pakistan want extra income but think an online business needs a big budget. It doesn’t. With a phone, an internet connection and a clear plan, you can start selling online in a few weeks. Here is how.
1. Choose a product people already search for
Start with something you understand, such as home-made food, clothing, handicrafts or a skill like graphic design. Check that people are already searching for it on Google, Daraz or Facebook Marketplace.
2. Pick one selling platform first
Do not try every platform at once. Begin with one: a Facebook or Instagram page, a WhatsApp Business catalogue or a free classifieds site. Learn what works before you expand.
3. Set up simple payments and delivery
- Offer cash on delivery and one mobile wallet.
- Partner with a courier that covers your city.
- Write a clear return policy.
4. Market with useful content
Post photos, short videos and customer reviews. Answer common questions in your posts. Helpful content builds trust faster than discounts.
Conclusion
A low-investment online business starts with one product, one platform and consistent effort. Start small, learn from your first ten customers and grow from there.
